Meet AI Engineer, Hanyue Liu, an expert of solving real problems
Hanyue's path has been a mix of academia and industry. He studied AI and carried out ML/AI research in both worlds, then spent time building GenAI products across different environments, a foundation that eventually led him to Stravito, where he now works on agentic AI solutions.

"The best part is knowing that what I build actually solves real problems for real customers, it's not abstract R&D but something that creates tangible value."
If you had to describe Stravito to someone who's never heard of us, what three things would you highlight, and why those specifically?
- Purpose-built solutions: We build products around real customer and market pain points, backed by strong strategy, development, customer success, and support teams working closely together. It's not just a product; it's a full system designed to actually deliver value.
- A fast-paced, agile culture: Decisions get made quickly, feedback loops are short, and ideas can move from discussion to execution without getting stuck in layers of process. That pace is something I really appreciate.
- Flexibility and work-life balance: We're remote-first, which gives everyone a lot of flexibility and saves the time and energy that would otherwise go into commuting. At the same time, there're offices to go to if you want that option too. Overall, it makes for a really healthy work rhythm.
Is there a moment at Stravito that made you think "this is why I work here"?
It's less a single moment and more a pattern I've noticed: whenever I've raised a request or a concern with my manager, it's genuinely been heard and followed up on, kept me in the loop, and I'd get real, useful feedback afterward. That kind of responsiveness, where things don't just disappear into a black hole, is what makes me trust the place I work for.
